Case study, independent tyre and MOT garage
From phone-tag to paid bookings in sixty seconds.
Every enquiry was a phone call, and the old site could not take payments. We built a booking system tied to live tyre stock, with a card deposit at booking, in six weeks.
- 60seconds
- Average time from typing a registration to a paid booking.
- 70%
- Of enquiries arrive from a phone, so every step is built for one.
- 4live integrations
- Tyresoft, supplier ordering, Stripe and missed-call rerouting.
One booking, five steps.
Scroll through what a driver sees. Interface recreated with sample data and no client details.
Vehicle lookup
The driver types their registration. The site finds the vehicle and the exact tyre size, so nobody has to read the sidewall or ring to ask.
Choose tyres
Prices and stock come live from Tyresoft, the garage management system, and from supplier ordering. Three clear choices, fitted prices and what can go on today.
Pick a slot
Fitting slots come from the garage diary. The driver picks a time that suits them, and the slot is held while they pay.
Pay a deposit
A card deposit through Stripe secures the slot, on a phone, in a few taps. The garage is paid before the job and no-shows cost less.
Confirmed
The driver gets a confirmation email, the booking lands in the diary and the tyres are ordered. About sixty seconds from start to finish.
Connected to how the garage already works.
Four live integrations, so a booking on the website updates everything behind it without anyone retyping it.
- TyresoftGarage management system: prices, stock and the diary.
- Supplier orderingTyres ordered from the supplier when a booking needs them.
- StripeCard deposits at booking, receipts sent automatically.
- Missed-call reroutingUnanswered calls ring a second phone or get a text with the booking link.
Before and after.
Before
- Every enquiry was a phone call, and the phone was not always answered
- Tyre prices and stock were only visible inside the garage system
- The website could not take a payment or a deposit
- Drivers who reached voicemail often never called back
After
- Drivers book and pay a deposit in about sixty seconds, day or night
- Live prices and stock from Tyresoft on every tyre size
- Bookings land in the diary and tyres are ordered without retyping
- Missed calls ring a second phone or get a text with the booking link
