What we collect and why

Call-back requests

When you ask us to call you back, we collect your name, business name, phone number, email address, the plan you are interested in, how you would like us to contact you and any message you add. We use these to reply to your request.

Our garage website pages have a shorter call-back form that asks for your name, phone number and garage name, used in the same way.

Visibility report requests

When you ask for the full Website Visibility report, we collect your name, email address, phone number, the website you checked and its results. We use these to send you the report and to call you about it.

Tips by email

If you tick the box to receive occasional tips, we record that choice and use your email address to send them. You can stop them at any time by replying to one or emailing us.

Websites checked

When anyone runs the Website Visibility Check, we keep a record of the website checked and its results: the address, the score, the type of business we detected and the main issue found. We use these records to improve the tool and to contact businesses about their results. We do not record your IP address, your browser or anything else about you when you run a check.

Our lawful bases

• Legitimate interests for running website checks, keeping a record of them and replying to business enquiries, including sending a report you asked for.
• Taking steps before a contract for call-back requests, because you have asked us to talk to you about our services.
• Consent for sending you tips by email. You can withdraw it at any time.

How long we keep it

We keep call-back and report requests for up to 24 months and website check records for up to 12 months, then delete them.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• give you a copy of the information we hold about you
• correct information that is wrong
• delete your information
• stop using your information, if you object to how we use it
• stop sending you tips, if you withdraw your consent

Cookies

This website does not set analytics or advertising cookies at present. If you choose light or dark mode, that choice is saved in your own browser (local storage) so the site remembers it. It is not a cookie and it is not sent to us.
